Rep. Paul Thissen and other DFL legislators called for the state to invest $2 million for anti-radicalization and other efforts to stop terrorist recruiting in Minnesota. Minnesota is a prime recruitment target for Al-Shabbab and other terrorist organizations. The funding would bolster collaboration between community groups and government agencies in our work to combat terrorism and to help at-risk youth and the larger community succeed.
